 New Tecno 16 Premier Phone Launched - Here's What You Need To Know!

This smartphone was first launched in Kenya and today (13 January 2021), it launched for the Indian market as well. It's a brand I am sure many of you do not know, but it's a pretty nice smartphone for the budget. It is also great when new companies enter the market, which can become new competitors for the existing companies. So talking about Tecno 16 Premier Phone:



It starts at about 16,000 INR (Indian Rupees). 

For now there is only one color option available which is the Glacier Silver.

Tecno 16 Premier has a glass front, plastic frame and a plastic back and has dual sim support.

It has a IPS LCD screen which is 90Hz and provides HDR10+ 480 nits of brightness which is great for the budget. 

Talking about the size of this smartphone, it is of 6.85inches and has 84.6% of screen to body ratio. The resolution is 1080x2460 pixels. It runs on Android 10 Operating System.

For the cameras, on the front it has pill shaped hole punch cut to support dual cameras which is 48 megapixel primary main sensor (f/2.2 aperture) and 8 megapixel secondary shooter having dual LED adjustable flash support. You can record videos up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. 

On the back it has quad cameras:

64 megapixel wide camera (having f/1.9 aperture)

8 megapixel ultrawide camera (having f/2.3 aperture)

2 megapixel dedicated video camera (having f/2.4 aperture)

and 2 megapixel depth camera (having f/2.4 aperture) 

Tecno 16 Premier Phone has 3.5mm headphone jack and a loudspeaker. 

For charging it has USB Type-C 2.0 support and it has finger print sensor on the sides. 

Talking about the battery of this smartphone, it has 4500 mAh non-removable battery and for the Indian model of this smartphone it has 18W fast charging support. 

RAM: It has 8GB Ram

Processor is powered by the 2.05GHz MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core SoC and it has Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. 

You will get 128GB of internal storage on this smartphone.
